‘Buffy’s’ Juliet Landau Making Vampire Documentary with Joss Whedon, Tim Burton Interviews

Juliet Landau obviously still has a vampirey tricks up her sleeves. The Buffy The Vampire star recently launched an exciting new project which just so happens to be of the blood-sucking variety, and it's coming to us all, documentary style, and jam packed with all kinds of vampire-inspired fun along with interviews from Tim Burton, Anne Rice, Joss Whedon, and many more. Basically, A Place Among the Undead is going to be epic!

According to EW, Landau will be working alongside her husband Deverill Weekes to bring forth what appears to be a true masterpiece of blood-sucking fun. Landau's vampire documentary A Place Among The Undead, will supposedly be documenting both vampire mythology along with their depiction in pop culture.

To make matters even more exciting, the documentary will be featuring interviews with: Burton, Rice, Willem Dafoe, Charlaine Harris, Gary Oldman, Robert Patrick, Steve Niles, Fright Night director Tom Holland, Underworld co-writer Kevin Grevioux, and a long line of other vampire big names. The project's Indiegogo crowdfunding site goes on to give a better explanation of everyone currently involved in the interview process, and all we've got to say is that the list is not only long, but also incredibly impressive.

In a recent interview with Whedonopolis, Landau described her vision for the documentary as:

"A PLACE AMONG THE UNDEAD covers every aspect of vampires in myth and pop culture: movies, TV, art, literature, comics, music, video games and young adult literature. The basic structure of UNDEAD is to explore all the metaphors of vampirism, i.e. sex, loss, disease, addiction, the outsider, etc, as seen through the eyes of their creators."

With a number of awesome interviews and what appears to be all kinds of interesting vampire footage, Landau's new documentary is sure to be a real bloodthirsty treat. Want to know more?
