Danielle Milian Breaks Down Over Terminating Unborn Son, Richie Bear

It's been one crazy year for the Milian family, after they were faced with some bad news. Before Christie Milian's sister, Danielle gave birth to her late son, Richie Bear, she was informed that he would probably not survive outside of her womb when doctors told her he was going to born with omphalocele. Before Milian fans would have to hear the sad news of Richie's death, his mother, Danielle broke down over terminating her unborn son, and in the end allowed him to have a chance at life.

In the sneak peek of Season 2 of Christina Milian Turned Up, Danielle and her husband, Richard looked over paperwork, and revealed the options they were hit with after learning about their third child's condition.

"On top of having all of his organs exposed, my son also has a rotated heart, and it's lying down 90 degrees which means it's laying down flat," Danielle bravely said to the cameras. "We're not sure if that's going to be an additional difficultly that he will have to have surgery on." Richie Bear faced a "57 percent mortality rate."

She said to her husband, "It explains why all the doctors have just kind of been questioning us so hard about what we wanna do," Danielle said with tears. "The right thing to do would be not make our child suffer. I don't want to make my baby suffer just because I want him."

"I'm at a point in the pregnancy where I only have a few weeks left to decide whether I'm going to follow through with this pregnancy or terminate," Danielle explained.

"I don't know if my baby will even make it to term. There is high chances that my baby will be still born, or that he will get an infection very soon after birth and I don't know if he'll make it till one year...it' breaks your heart," she said while grabbing a tissue.

MStars News previously learned about little Richie's death when his mother posted some photos of her son when he was born back in August, dying shortly after. In the snapshot below, Danielle shared an image of her precious baby boy and wrote: "I have tried my hardest to personally reply to my loved ones but to those that I don't know, thank you. Every last thought prayer wish note of encouragement, means so much to me and my process of healing. When the dark cloud comes over me, I read your words."

After Danielle's sister revealed that she had split from Lil Wayne, Christina said that her nephews death helped her focus on what's important in life; her family and her own daughter, Violet.

"A lot happened at once. The stuff with the family, with the baby it was a lot, it was a crazy month." Christina admitted. She said that her nephew's death makes "you reflect on life, and what's important to you, and I just focused and zoned in on my daughter, on my family and when it comes to him we still love each other." the singer added, "It's just appreciating each other and just chilling out, no drama attached."
