MStars News has learned that "Nasty Freestyle" rapper, T-Wayne, along with his lawyers, Greg Tsioros and Johnny Papantonakis, released a statement after Wayne was accused of rape. According to BET, the statement said: "We deny the allegation. It us [sic] unfounded, untrue and without merit!" The statement comes days after TMZ reported that the Texas native rapper was accused of raping a 22-year-old woman he met through social media in a hotel room over the summer.

The rape accusations all started when a Dallas woman claimed that she started talking to T-Wayne on Instagram back in June before flying to Houston to meet the rapper in person that following month. The young woman revealed that the two had dinner at a Cheesecake Factory and later went back to a hotel where she claimed the rapper tried to force her to have sex. The 22-year-old then claimed that after she had refuse, T-Wayne held her down and raped her.

After the alleged rape, the woman waited five weeks to go to the cops and file a police report. The woman said the reason why she waited so long was because she was shocked. After filing, the police officials opened a rape investigation to look into the story.
