Kim Kardashian & Kanye West's Wedding Pastor Rich Wilkerson, Jr. In Hot Water With Artists

Keeping Up With The Kardashian's (KUWTK) Kim Kardashian and Kanye Wests' wedding officiant is in hot water with a group of upset graffiti artists, since he has posted their art work on the church's social media pages. Rich Wilkerson, the pastor of Vous Church has been accused of using the creative artists' work to promote the church, says Page Six.

The pastor's good deeds have gone bad after he rented a school auditorium in Wynwood at Jose de Diego Middle School in the art section in the city of Miami. The auditorium was covered in art, that was supposed to benefit the school and community but unfortunately, the graffiti artists did not expect that their charitable work would be a scoial media advertisement for the church! They expected to get paid,especially if their art was used outside of the school's parameters.

Attorney Andrew Gerber, who represents seven of the taggers says they, "Created these works for the school and for the kids. If Vous Church has any doubts as to permissions...they could have contacted any of the artists. They did not. They can begin by properly compensating the artist here. And the artist will be contributing a large piece of the proceeds back to the school." Is this what the term, "starving artists" means?

According to the church's tweets, they host weekly creative nights, have a diverse crowd and worship to rap, rock and other genres.  They also claim to have over a thousand worshippers.

The Wests' rev responds through the church's lawyer, John Cyril Malloy II says, "Our client values these artists' contributions to the community" and "would very much like to resolve everything with them." He added, "Church members volunteer countless hours at the school...we should all be on the same team here."

People reported that the attractive 30-something minister has a reality show deal with E's Giuliana Rancic and Jason Kennedy. It's titled, The Wilkersons and will star the pastor and his wife, Dawn Cheré. He claims, "There's a lot of my life that is hilarious. But there's also a lot that is very serious. We have a lot of people in our church who are facing difficult things. Also, my wife and I are trying to have children, and it hasn't happened yet. Obviously, if the show causes stress in our marriage, we'd stop doing it, but I think we're on the same page."

Anticipating the ability to utilize the show's platform to reach people, he has a few legit concerns such as, how will the show affect the ministry with his role on reality TV? What does he think about celebrities coming to his church? He says, "They'll be welcome here but they're no more welcome and no more important than the homeless guy who walks in. I want to minister to the famous and the nameless. Everyone is welcome at our church. And it'll stay that way."

Wilkerson got the opportunity to provide a Christian wedding for the Wests after a friend introduced Kanye West to him. A week later, West went to a service, eventually Wilkerson met Kim Kardashian and the two couples have been friends ever since.
