'Bones' Season 11: Emily Deschanel's Temperance Brennan Gets People's Choice Awards 2016 Nod!

Season 11 of Bones continues its final season on Fox. In tonight's Episode 4, after finally reunited, are Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) ready to meet guest star Betty White in "The Donor In the Drink?"

As we previously mentioned, the eleventh season picks up six months after the Season 10 finale. In the time-jump, Brennan and Booth have moved on to a new child and different jobs. Though they have given up their old life and settled into a blissful death-free existence, a murder unlike any other draws them back. They reunite with their former colleagues at the Jeffersonian and team with the FBI to solve the case.

In our Bones/Sleepy Hollow recap, the Jeffersonian team discovered two dead bodies, a college nurse student and a headless British redcoat solider. While Brennan argues over jurisdiction with Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison), Abbie (Nicole Beharie) and Booth (David Boreanaz) do some investigative work of their own on the dead student. As the search for the real killer continues, Brennan becomes suspicious of her newfound visitor and his historically accurate signature.

According to TV Line, the cast and crew are among this year's honorees at the People's Choice Awards. Bones has been nominated for Favorite TV Crime Drama and Deschanel earned her spot as Favorite Crime Drama TV Actress. The show will compete against Person of Interest, Castle, and Criminal Minds. Brennan herself will have to hold her own against Lucy Liu (Elementary), Mariska Hargitay (Law & order: SVU), and Stana Katic (Castle).
