Eddie Murphy and Girlfriend, Paige Butcher Expecting Actor's Ninth Child! Couple Due in May

Eddie Murphy is adding to the list of celebrity babies, because his longtime girlfriend, Paige Butcher is expecting the actor's ninth child! MStars News has learned that the couple are due in May 2016.

The news of Murphy and Butcher's pregnancy spread like wildfire Thursday after the couple revealed that they were indeed pregnant. According to USA TODAY, the 54-year-old comedian's rep, Arnold Robinson confirmed the news. Murphy, and Butcher, 36 have been together over four years.

Even though this is baby number nine for Murphy, this will be Butcher's first child. Murphy may be adding to the bunch if she plans on having more in her future.

The Nutty Professor star five children with his ex-wife, Nicole Mitchell. Those five includes, Bria, 25, Myles, 22, Shayne, 21, Zola, 15, and Bella, 13. Murphy also shares a child with former Spice Girl, Melanie "Mel B" Brown. There daughter, Angel is 8-years-old. His other two kids are named, Eric, 26 and Christian, 25 from past relationships.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Butcher is due in May. There's no word yet if he's having a boy or a girl with Butcher. Murphy's ninth child be join other celebrity babies that will be born in 2016. Expecting celebs includes: Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, due in January, and John Legend, and his wife, Chrissy Teigen.

Butcher stepped out for her first appearance carrying her baby bump when she supported the comedian when he was honored with the Mark Twain Prize. Comedians including, Tracy Morgan, Arsenio Hall, Kathy Griffin, Chris Rock, and George Lopez, were in the audience to celebrate Murphy's award.

"It's an award, because usually when it's a prize there's usually money involved," Murphy said during his acceptance speech. "(To) clear up the confusion for future recipients ... if you don't want to call it an award, maybe you can call it the Mark Twain Sur-prise. The 'surprise' being you ain't getting any money!"
