Fans of Tamar Braxton were about to grab a tissue after the Dancing With the Stars contestant was rushed to the hospital right before the show on Monday night's competition. If Braxton didn't make it back to the competition, she was going to be disqualified.

According to ABC, Braxton became sick before the live show, leaving the judges to watch her dress rehearsal with her partner, Valentin Chmerkovskiy. Braxton was rushed to the ER where she was suffering from pneumonia. It appears that the singer had been suffering from the illness for about two weeks, and during rehearsal on Monday, couldn't take it anymore and became too sick to compete.

Sources close to the situation said that Braxton's husband, Vincent Herbert, was the one who took his wife to a local hospital. If Braxton didn't return she was going to be booted out just like her fellow competitor, Kim Zolciak.

Judges can judge the rehearsal dance if the contestant has an emergency, but if the person isn't back in time to perform, or at least get some kind of dance performance in, they will more than likely be disqualified. In Zolciak's case, she was absent during dress rehearsals.

MStars News previously reported that Zolciak suffered a mini stroke a few weeks into the competition and was forced to leave the show. Zolciak was at home when she became sick after flying back from Los Angeles to Atlanta following the DWTS competition.

Since then, Zolciak has underwent a heart surgery after she was diagnosed with "PFO [patent foramen ovale], a hole in my heart that never closed," she explained.

MStars News hopes both of the women continue to get better, and stay healthy.

In the video below, Braxton was seen rushing back to the Dancing With the Stars competition after getting medical attention at the hospital.
