Tamar Braxton is one dedicated dancer! MStars News learned that the Dancing With the Stars contestant returned to Monday night's competition after scaring her fans when she was rushed to the hospital after suffering from pneumonia for over two weeks.

In the video clip below, Braxton proved that she wasn't going to let an illness get the best of her and get her disqualified from the show, making it just in time to perform the group dance along with Nick Carter and his dance partner, Sharna Burgess, and Braxton's dance partner, Val Chmerkovskiy.

Backstreet Boys' Carter took really good care of Braxton while the two danced alongside their dance partners. Carter claimed that it was a lot of pressure on him to help Braxton get through the performance.

"There was a moment right before when she came out, a minute before we were going to perform and Val actually came to me and said, 'Listen, everything aside, I need you to be a lead man tonight and I need you to protect her and take care of her,'" Carter said of Monday night's performance.

"She was unstable," the singer noted. "So on top of everything else I needed to know and didn't learn because of our lack of rehearsals, I had to really put her first and assume that responsibility and really just kind of make sure that she was taken care of," Carter said.

"That was really my most proud moment of the entire season," Carter's partner Burgess admitted. "Seeing how Nick took care of Tamar – even at the end he was like, 'I've got you,' and had her sit down on his knee."

Burgess added, "He did what she did. That is truly a leading man, taking care of you in that process, and I am so incredibly proud of him, proud of her, I'm proud of us as a team."

Even the judges were in shock that Braxton made it back to finish off the competition. They praised her for being dedicated and claimed they were proud of her courage to continue.

MStars News previously reported that Braxton became extremely sick after dress rehearsal and was rushed to the ER right before the competition started on Monday night. Braxton has had a crazy schedule performing on the show, performing on stage with her singing career, and hosting on The Real daytime talk show.

We're glad Braxton wasn't disqualified but hopes she gets the rest she needs to finish off the entire competition.
