'The Flash' Season 2 Ep 6 Recap: Grant Gustin, Danielle Panabaker SnowBarry "Enter Zoom"

The CW network continues Season 2 of The Flash. In Episode 6, after the events of of the first season finale, will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), the scarlet speedster, and Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) be able to stop the threat as they Enter Zoom?

During their battle, the Flash is hits twice by Doctor Light (Malese Jow) before she strips him away of his lightning symbol. In the flashback, Doctor Light is in her prison cell, explaining why she was meant to kill the scarlet speedster. The Flash has a plan to stop Zoom but he needs Doctor Light's help.

Caitlin is not happy with the plan at all. Harry (Tom Cavanagh) has a special gun that could surprise Zoom and capture him. Though Caitlin disapproves, Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) thinks Harry is hiding something. Joe wants Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to use his powers on Harry. 

In the flashback within a flashback, Harry argues with his daughter, Jesse Quick, about what Jay Garrick accused of. Harry refuses to believe he created the metahumans. Joe wants Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten) off the case  but he refuses to tell her why. 

Linda Park asks Iris (Candice Patton) to ask Flash for help. Cisco returns to the cell and discovers Doctor Light has escaped. With Doctor Light invisible, no one is able to stop her from escaping. With Doctor Light gone, Barry wants to keep his plan going but Joe disagrees trusting Wells' gun. 

Cisco puts his hand on Harry's shoulder, which makes Wells furious. In Earth-2, Harry discovers Jesse's school has been attacked by a metahuman. In an effort of being transparent, Patty reveals to Joe that she kissed Barry. Back at home, Linda has to keep cooking to distract herself.

Barry and Iris have an idea, what if Linda put on Doctor Light's costume and used her to trick Zoom? At the shooting range, Linda ends up hitting every target by accident. Finally after practice, Linda is able to shoot the main target but she's not ready.

Joe and Barry argue he's still chasing after the Reverse-Flash. In order to get her to trust him, Barry reveals himself to Linda. Trying again, Cisco vibes into Harry and finds Zoom holding Jesse hostage. Patty notices Barry and Joe are holding out on her.

During the pretend fight, Linda strikes at the Flash as he pretends to hit the ground. After Linda opens the portal, Flash realizes Zoom isn't coming after waiting an hour.  Following Joe's advice, Barry walks up to Patty and kisses her. Iris is too late to stop Zoom from kidnapping Linda.

The Flash meets with Zoom on the rooftop and rescues Linda from his clutches.  Zoom grabs the lightning bolt and throws it back at the Flash. As the two speedsters race, Zoom hits the Flash in the back and stabs him with Wells' bullet.

Zoom shows everyone that he has defeated the scarlet speedster. He then stabs Barry before Cisco takes another shot. After Cisco reveals about Jesse, Wells went Barry for his help but he was wrong. 

Barry wakes up from his wounds and discovers he cannot feel his legs.
