Last week, the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance was rejected, denying transgender people access to the bathrooms of their gender identity in businesses. It was an incredibly important issue, which is exactly why Saturday Night Live had Pete Davidson show up on Weekend Update to slam the 'no' voters – and talk a little bit about men with pervy bathroom fetishes.

Davidson showed up alongside Update co-anchor Colin Jost, noting, "Apparently this anti-discrimination law was voted down because some people claim it's just an excuse to allow guys in women's restrooms." The comedian further joked that men – "in their relentless quest" – who are trying to get inside women's restrooms and watch them use the toilet, are now undergoing surgeries and changing their life styles altogether merely to get a peek at a woman inside a bathroom.

"What is this fantasy that they think is going on in there?" Davidson asked, citing that there are certainly no "shirtless pillow fights" or anything else men often dream women do when they're together. (But they actually don't do.)

The young comic then had some words about women's restrooms overall: "It sucks. Nobody wants to hang out there."

Check out his "report" on transgender equality rights below:

For the record, please, no one take Pete Davidson's observation into play: While there are no bouncers protecting women's restrooms against men just entering without a care in the world, it's just, well, strange. So don't do it.

Saturday Night Live aired its latest episode this past Saturday with guest host Elizabeth Banks. Rather than kicking off with a typical cold open, they went low-key and delivered a thoughtful tribute to the city of Paris following the attacks on Friday. Key player Cecily Strong appeared alone onstage, noting that New York City stands with the people of Paris.
