The second Democratic debate went down on Saturday evening. Much was discussed during the event – especially following the alleged terrorist attack form ISIS in Paris on Friday – but it was one topic that really had hopeful Hillary Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders divided: Wall Street.

During the debate, Sanders called out Clinton for her relationship with Wall Street bankers in the past, specifically the multiple super PACs she has, according to Mic, which can "take limitless sums of money from corporations."

"Why over her career has Wall Street been a major, the major, campaign contributor to Hillary Clinton?" asked Sanders. He further joked that perhaps the bankers are "dumb" and uncertain of the results they will receive – which he quickly assured, "I don't think so" – and announced the major issue:

"You've got six financial institutions today that have assets equivalent to 56% of the GDP in America. They issue two-thirds of the credit cards and one-third of the mortgages."

Sanders then called for a reinstitution of the Glass-Steagall bill, and noted that should he be president, he plans to break up the banks and assured the crowd that the future of banks in America is not the big corporations we have today, but community banks and credit unions.

While Clinton felt Sanders' response was all meant to "impugn" her integrity, as she put it, she then assured everyone that she does indeed have small donors––alongside those big ones, of course.

She then rebutted, saying she represented both New York and Wall Street during the attacks on 9/11, and spent "a whole lot of time and effort helping them rebuild." Which seemed rather unrelated to what they were discussing.

Oh yeah, and Martin O'Malley was there too.
