Kim Kardashian Bestie, Jonathan Cheban Sets Robin Leach Type Goals

Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian's bestie, Jonathan Cheban has revealed plans to be the next Robin Leach of Lifestyle of the Rich & Famous show host. The reality star told Page Six, "I live that lifestyle. I want to be the Robin Leach for the new generation, telling them what the hottest places are and where to go, It's my next step in life and I'm developing a show about it. I'm very excited," he says.

The former celebrity publicist and KUWTK fixture rose to fame in 2008 and has been the voice of reason for one of the most famous celebutante. He has been vocal for his "boss bae" when necessary. His relationship with the star is like no other; he's not afraid to stick up for Kim when it comes to sisterly rivalry. Nor is he hesitant to give her a piece of his mind, as seen on the show.

While the jet setter is great at handling damage control publicity for his client, he has had his own challenges, as well. In August 2014, the 41-year old was attacked by Denis Volchkin at a sushi eatery in Brooklyn. Cheban's security guard, Sal Carollo protecting his client by "punching the 28-year old assailant," the media outlet reported. By October, Volchkin was shot and killed by the police when he "lunged at the officers with a knife."

With the traumatic event behind him, the unofficial Kardashian brother has debuted his lifestyle website entitled, The Dishh. The site talks celebrities, the best eateries, workout facilities and any and all things related to stardom. While that digital platform is sailing smoothly, he's ready for the ideal televised show, documenting the lifestyle of the well known. The Daily Mail reported, "I am going to be the modern-day Robin Leach," says Jonathan. "I am an authority on the best restaurants and I want to bring that to the masses."

He also spilled the tea, revealing that Kourtney Kardashian is A-OK after splitting with Scott Disick. He says, "She is doing so great, better than ever. She is revived, she is a fountain of youth these days with so much energy. She is always smiling, its really nice to see. She is like the old Kourtney, she has it back, that vibrancy, that youthfulness." His take on what Kim will name is son is, "I gave her my list of suggested names, but she shot me down very fast, like lightning, none of them stuck with her. And no, the name Jonathan is not being considered," he laughed.

Hopefully, the star will use his best subjects, the Kardashian clan, to help take his up-coming television series to the top. That's not to say he would rely soley on them, but certainly consider working them in. Perhaps the famous family will co-executive produce the show? Who knows, but time will tell. This kid is always on to the next big thing. He is one of the few who has figured out how to utilize the reality show platform for the good!
