When word got out that GOP candidate Ben Carson allegedly tried to stab someone when he was 14 years old, as well as strike his mother with a hammer, we all knew Saturday Night Live would eventually spoof it. And on this past Saturday's episode with host Elizabeth Banks, the show did just that in a sketch starring Jay Pharoah as young Ben Carson and Kenan Thompson as Black Jesus, which was gold.

Titled The Adventures of Young Ben Carson, the below SNL sketch mocks the tales Carson has told to the press over the past few weeks. Also in the sketch are several statements of WTF!? that SNL claim to have grabbed from several of Carson's many stories.

Kicking off in his younger days, the sketch surrounding Carson starts off with a group of teens hanging out on the curb. Carson's girlfriend, played by SNL's Sasheer Zamata, introduces her boyfriend to the group, who immediately find themselves confused by the "anger" he portrays. Of course, their tune changes once that knife comes into play.

Luckily the stabee is able to block the strike, with his belt buckle, much like the "real" story.

Then comes Carson's supposed hammer incident, in which he allegedly threatened his mother, played by Leslie Jones.

Fellow GOP candidate Donald Trump recently held a campaign conference and repeatedly slammed Dr. Carson over the supposed knife story. During his rant, Trump appeared to question Carson's story, specifically the belt buckle spot. The former Celebrity Apprentice lead took issue with the fact that a belt buckle actually stopped a knife.

Upon speaking, Trump stepped aside his podium and acknowledged that he, too, had a belt on at that moment, and should anyone attempt to stab him the knife would undoubtedly go through because "the belt would move."
