On Sunday, Teams around the NFL recognized Friday's tragedy in Paris with a moment of silence. In Green Bay, it was no different. However, there was something of an unsavory moment when a fan--or fans--made prejudicial remarks during the silence. Something star quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, took exception to. At his post game press conference Rodgers addressed the value of having these moments of silence, and expressed his dissatisfaction toward one particular fan.

"Yeah, I think it's important to do things like that," Rodgers said Sunday afternoon. "We're a connected world. Six degrees of separation."

"I must admit, I was very disappointed with whoever the fan was who made a comment that I thought was really inappropriate during the moment of silence. It's that kind of prejudicial ideology that I think puts us in the position that we're in today as a world."

It was unclear as to what exactly the fan--whom Rodgers referred to--did say. However, there were several accounts on social media that reported fans saying things such as, "Muslims suck," or "Death to Muslims." There was also an attempt to get a "Go Pack Go" chant started, which seems to suggest a lack of understanding for the moment, instead of a blatant attempt at disrespect.

With his position in the NFL as arguably the best QB in the league, Rodgers has a unique opportunity to reach millions of viewers. In calling out fellow Cheese-heads (Green Bay Packers fans) he made it apparent he's not afraid to speak his mind, even if it is toward the people who support him the most.

Even though Rodgers didn't have his best day on the field on Sunday--completing just 57.4% of his passes in Green Bay's 16-18 loss to Detroit--in speaking out against some of his own fans, he may have just had one of his better days off of it.
