NBC's 'Blindspot' Spoilers: Twitter Reacts Lou Diamond Phillips/Guerrero, Joe Dinicol/David!

NBC captivated audiences with episode 9 of Blindspot,. While Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) were busy, Twitter had lots to say about Saul Guerrero (Lou Diamond Phillips) and David (Joe Dinicol)'s shocking twists!

According to Variety, the episode ended with two shocking casualties. Patterson's (Ashley Johnson) seemingly unemployed but forever loyal ex-boyfriend David (Joe Dinicol) was killed off. David went rogue to crack a code and win back Patterton, but need up with his throat slit. It seems like the end for incarcerated crime boss Saul Guerrero (Philips)., The corrupt CIA deputy director Carter (Michael Gaston) orchestrated Saul's hit behind bars.

In an interview with TV Guide, the La Bamba actor reveals if his character is truly dead or not, "I'm sure some people will go, oh my God, I can't believe they killed Guerrero. ... These guys had a plan before they cast me. It was actually expressed to me that had they known they were going to get me, they would have had a longer-arching plan. So once again, I think now that the character has resonated as well as he has, that might be a thought that they revisit later down the road."

To Variety, creator Martin Gero discusses David's death, "It sets off a chain of events that ripples through the next little chunk of the season and the focus of the next episode is trying to find out who did this to him."
