Arrow is back with a new Season 4 episode tonight entitled "Brotherhood," and director James Bamford, the fight coordinator for the series, has dropped some spoilers about the hour in a new interview.

Bamford spoke to TVLine and previewed that this episode is focused on Diggle (David Ramsey), specifically his backstory. He also promised that this hour will answer questions that fans have had about the character since Season 1.

Currently, Dig is dealing with the revelation that his brother, killed by Damien Darhk's H.I.V.E., was actually a criminal, which is why the agency took him out. Tonight, we'll see Diggle work through this struggle.

"He did just find out from Damien Darhk that his brother was “dirty,” but I can’t imagine he wants to believe that.
Of course he doesn’t, but he really wants to put this to bed. He wants to have some resolution for all the feelings he’s had about his brother throughout the years — as anybody would. He doesn’t want to walk around carrying this baggage for the rest of his life. He just wants to live his life. This episode has a lot to do with family — not only Diggle’s but the family unit that is Team Arrow itself, and the interactions within. It’s titled 'Brotherhood' for a good reason, as that applies to not only Diggle but also his relationships, with Oliver in particular. You’ll see the strength of those relationships, and the weaknesses as well."

Bamford also teased that he shot an action sequence for this episode that he's wanted to do for 20 years. From start to finish, the uninterrupted shot runs 52 seconds, which is quite a long time for a fight scene. Originally, it was 57 seconds, so this should be interesting.
