We realize this could still be a hot button issue for many people, but Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog broke up over the summer. And yes, we have Denise to thank for that. But look on the bright side, if that didn't happen then we wouldn't have this wonderful parody of Adele's music video for "Hello."

The once-upon-a-time couple appeared in the below parody, mocking the 25 singer's hit track, which has reportedly been breaking some big-time records.

Per The Huffington Post, Kermit and Miss Piggy got together for the "Hello" parody at the American Music Awards, which aired just this past Sunday evening, with host Jennifer Lopez.

Now, while we were really hoping for an actual music video, it's being reported that the below is merely a commercial for The Muppets ABC television series.

But still, it's pretty great.

So, how are you feeling about Miss Piggy's parody? Or, since it's still hitting us all very hard, the breakup?

The muppet video wasn't the only exciting thing to occur on the American Music Awards. It seems that one of Lopez's backup dancers suffered a little (okay, a big), NSFW wardrobe malfunction during the show. When dancing to one of the many tunes they recreated, one of her backup dancer's leotards split in the back – not that actual back, we're talking about the butt – revealing her full backside to the audience and at-home viewers.

Additionally, Nicki Minaj is squeezing in the headlines for her I wish I was anywhere else look when she found herself eyeing Jennifer Lopez during a dance to her famed single, "Anaconda."
