Patti Labelle has reportedly made a womping 2.3 millions dollars for Patti's Pies, last weekend alone. Some people may have known that Pattie's Pies were being sold in Walmart, but the majority of people did not. It was not until a video went viral of entertainer James Wright, recording himself singing, dancing and impersonating the iconic artist while tasting her now famous pies. The video garnered over three million views on his YouTube channel. Since then LaBelle has said that she has been the reason behind the pie's success. But, this week, according to Rollingout Magazine, LaBelle has finally admitted and came to terms with the fact the Wright played a big role in the recent rise in her bank account.

LaBelle recently appeared on 'Good Morning Philadelphia' on Tuesday, November 24 and revealed to Quincy Harris, "This pie is doing really well... My new friend James Wright, did this fierce video and took the pie over the top, and people are losing their minds about the pie. Thank you, James...We're going to be in Philly together. He's spending Thanksgiving with Miss Patti. I'm going to cook for him."

Like almost every family, the menu LaBelle is preparing for Wright will consist of holidays favorites like: brisket, four fried turkeys, macaroni and shrimp, potato salad, kale, cabbage salad, candied yams, peach cobbler, chocolate cake, leg of lamb. Of course, her famous sweet potato pie will be on the menu.

Hopefully, LaBelle will do a little more than cook Wright a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner. "You give love to people who give you love. And you know, I didn't expect a viral video."

Breaking bread with someone is a wonderful way to say thank you, but you do you think Wright deserves to be cut a check along with dinner? Let us know your thoughts below.
