Last week, the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers game got very violent. MStars News has learned that investigators are looking at viral videos to determine if an alleged assault took place by the Cowboys security guard after he put Panthers fan, John Small ,in a chokehold during the Thanksgiving game.

According to TMZ, police are investigating the incident as a "possible Class A misdemeanor assault."

In the disturbing video, you can see fans in the stands trying to get the guard off of Small as his mother, Elva Conley Small, yells for help and for the guard to please leave her son alone.

Little detail has been given as to why the dispute happened. Small wrote on his Facebook page, stating that he was asked to leave after a complaint had been filed. Someone reported that he was being "disruptive."

"I politely stood up for myself and before I knew it they were nudging mom out of the way to get to me and at that point, I walked into the aisle and was immediately put into a choke hold. The video shows what happened," he wrote.

First of all I would like to thank all of you for the outpouring of support and your sharing of the truth of what...

Small also said that he and his mother decided to go to the Dallas game from North Carolina to have some fun after his father died around the same time last year.

Small claimed that he wanted people who had videos of the chaos to post them so that everyone could see what actually happened.

He also thanked one man in the stands who was wearing a Chicago Bears jersey that helped get him free from the chokehold. Small said that he wanted the Arlington police department to look over the footage and is awaiting a response from them.

A representative for the Cowboys have not made a statement. In the clip, Small said that he remembered being "terrified" and "not able to breathe."
