According to Page Six, Charlie Sheen, who recently confirmed he's HIV positive, has been looking for a publisher interested in printing his memoirs.  Obviously he believes his notorious antics are worth reading as he is asking for $10 million for the rights to his life story. However, literary executives feel the Anger Management star is overpriced, despite the interest in his recent medical admission.

"When Charlie starred in Two and Half Men it was a funny comedy, but the idea of $10 million is even funnier. So much of his life has played out in public, and so much is sordid, in this case there may be too much information," said a veteran for a major publishing company who asked not to be named in case his firm ends up cutting a deal with the 50 year old actor. He added "What's left to find out?"

It seems this isn't the first time the Wall Street actor has considered literary pursuits. Back in 2011 he supposedly tested the waters by offering to pen a behind the scenes book of the aforementioned sitcom after his infamous firing by producer Chuck Lorre. Not surpringly, he expected the same cash advance he is currently seeking.

Ironically cleaner living may be more profitable. Last spring, Sheen's former co-star Jon Cryer had his memoir So That Happened successfully published making all best seller lists.

Famed publisher Judith Regan said, "I would like to publish Charlie's autobiography as an epic poem."  Sheen has claimed, "I've got magic and poetry in my fingertips. Most of the time – and this includes naps – I'm an F-18, bro and I will destroy you in the air. I will deploy my ordinance to the ground."

Interestingly the Major League party animal may have competition. Publishers claim everyone around him, including call girls, porn stars, bodyguards and Hollywood starlets are all attempting to cash in by writing about their own experiences and knowledge of the Golden Globe winner's wicked ways. Obviously the more people that tell Sheen's story, the less reason there would be to read his version.
