'Scandal's' Kerry Washington & Nnamdi Asomugha Sell Hollywood Hills Home for $2.695 Million!

Rumors of an alleged split and failed marriage between Scandal star Kerry Washington and NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha hasn't prevented the husband and wife from selling their 3,855 square foot home in the Hollywood Hills for $2.695 million, after just three days on the market.

The 1926 French Country style house rests in three-quarters of an acre with views of the Hollywood sign and the Griffin Observatory. It has been described by the Los Angeles Times as a "bright living space" that "includes a living room with a decorative fireplace, an updated kitchen, a gym, five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and a powder room." The home also has a seperate guest house, chauffer's quarters and a swimming pool.

The couple purchased the property in 2014 for $1,865 million from MADtv and The King of Queens star Nicole Sullivan.

While Washington and Asomugha has been private about their marriage, as there have been rumors circulating throughout the media about the relationship and that it has apparently fizzled shortly after the wedding n 2013.

Gossip Cop recently reported that the rumors published in Life & Style are untrue and says, "A soure close to Washington, however, exclusively assured Gossip Cop that the tabloid's story is 'not true,' and there are absolutely no plans for the couple to divorce."

True or not, the facts are that the 34-year-old retired football player and 38-year old actress, who's slated to play Anita Hill on HBO movie Confirmation scheduled to debut next year, just profited almost $1 million for the sale and still own a home in Manhattan Beach, California.

It has been a while since the couple was spotted out together. Although the NFL'er has been absent from the scene, according to the Daily Mail, he has been trying to break into acting field and at the same time, working on philanthropic endeavors including the Clinton Global Initiative for six years.

It's safe to assume that the father of 1-year-old Isabelle is not a slacker when it comes to working on or off the field.
