Ayesha Curry shared a few tweets on Saturday and had no clue that her opinion on fashion and modesty would break the Internet. Viral Reactions from the Twitter world landed Ayesha in the hot seat, prompting several notable celebrities to chime in and salute her opinion. Among those in willing to help were Khloe Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen, and Charlamagne Tha God.
Classy vs. Trashy.
Ayesha Curry, wife of Stephen Curry and mother of the irreplaceable Riley Curry, decided to speak out about fashion and modesty this weekend. She vented about her take on fashion trends with the following statements.
Everyone's into barely wearing clothes these days huh? Not my style. I like to keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters

Just looking at the latest fashion trends. I'll take classy over trendy any day of the week. #saturdaynightinsight — Ayesha Curry (@ayeshacurry) December 6, 2015
These tweets sparked an Internet wide debacle from folks who took offense to Ayesha's preference for keeping "the good stuff covered for the one who matters." Several users interpreted this statement as shade toward women who choose to show their figures.
Sounds as if Ayesha Curry thinks her body/other women's bodies are like consumer goods marketed exclusively for use by men, or something.

Several celebrities noticed the backlash and spoke out in support of Ayesha's statements including Khloe Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen and Charlamagne Tha God. Khloe expressed her respect and admiration for Ayesha staying true to herself and wished her well.
I just love @ayeshacurry!!! Always staying true to you. My kind of lady. Blessings on blessings!!! — Khloé (@khloekardashian) December 6, 2015
Chrissy Teigen made fun of the excessive media hype and made light of the situation.
@ayeshacurry you got people writing articles on a Sunday

Charlamagne took us to church with his tweet.
Watching you idiots try to slander Ayesha Curry is a good reminder to place Isaiah 5:20 on the timeline. — Charlamagne Tha God (@cthagod) December 6, 2015
In addition to solidarity among her celebrity friends, some clapback memes surfaced in the aftermath of the Twitter eruption. This meme depicts the general consensus that Black Twitter had about any women that took offense to Ayesha's tweet.
If Ayesha Curry offended you in any form or fashion you a hoe & if you disagree you probably a hoe too pic.twitter.com/VjtZqJ8DZt

After so many of these memes/posts surfaced Ayesha intervened with a follow up tweet to those she unintentionally offended and those who were being made fun of for disagreeing with her statements.
Regardless of if you like my "style of clothes" or not (which I don't care) please do not tear women down and degrade them... Not cool peeps — Ayesha Curry (@ayeshacurry) December 6, 2015
About Ayesha Curry
Outside of her new-found role as fashion blogger, Ayesha Curry is a courtside wife, mother of two and professional chef. Her blog, Little Lights of Mine is a space where established and aspiring food connoisseurs can learn new recipes, watch how-to videos, and follow the "daily happenings that season" her life. As a professional chef, Ayesha has her own cooking show, "Cooking with the Currys" on CSN Bay Area.
Of course, you can't say "Chef Curry" without thinking of the famous line from Drake's "0 to 100." Check out the video below of Ayesha's remix to that line with special guest Steph Curry!
