It looks as if portraying Vincent Chase's iconic superhero Aquaman might have rubbed off on actor Adrian Grenier. The Entourage star has launched a new non-profit organization, The Lonely Whale Foundation, aiming to raise awareness of ocean health.

Grenier reportedly celebrated the kickoff of his new non-profit this past weekend at Miami's Art Basel through an "oceanic art gallery" titled A Response to Our Oceans. Accompanied by DJ Wild Belle, the night gave attendees an inside look at the new foundation, which vows to "serve as a home for ocean health awareness" via education and conversation.

Furthermore, they were given the chance to test out an oceanic interactive virtual reality experience titled Cry Out: The Lonely Whale Experience, in order to better understand the power of our oceans.

The HBO star found himself inspired to save our oceans upon hearing the story of the 52 Hertz Whale, a whale that "has spent its entire life in solitude," according to a press release. With that inspiration, he partnered with producer Lucy Sumner and director Josh Zeman to start the foundation.

Outside of saving our oceans, the actor made his own waves this past summer with the release of the heavily anticipated HBO film Entourage. The movie starred Grenier alongside the rest of the Entourage cast: Kevin Connelly, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven.
