Kristin Cavallari's Brother, Michael Probably Died From Exposure to Cold Temperatures

New mom, Kristin Cavallari's brother, Michael Cavallari, was found dead earlier this week. MStars News has learned that Jay Cutler's brother in law probably died from exposure to cold temperatures.

E! News revealed that law enforcement originally thought that Michael may have committed suicide, but cold temperatures are now looking to be the cause of death. "Michael Cavallari's body was found three miles from where his car was wrecked in the high desert of Grand County, Utah," authorities said. According to US Magazine, Michael, 30 endured cold weather before he died in Salt Wash, Utah. The older brother to the former Hills star was found dead in a "steep and very rocky area" on Thursday morning, Dec. 10, Grand County Sheriff Steven White revealed. White said that "Michael was most likely exposed to frigid weather in an area that averages temperatures in the high 20s and low 30s during the day. At night, temperatures dip to the teens." He continued, "We definitely think that's a contributing factor. But [we] won't know until we get the autopsy report." In another report, White told Fox News that he didn't know what kind of mental state Michael was in when he went missing and that he probably suffered from the cold weather. "I don't know what his mental state might have been, with possible hypothermia," White explained. When the 30-year-old was found, there was no evidence of drug use nor alcohol. Michael didn't have any major trauma damage to his body. Details are still unknown at this time how Michael crashed his 2014 Honda Civic. Michael was last seen right after Thanksgiving, on Friday, Nov. 27. He had been reported missing for three days before a crew discovered his body. Following Michael's death, Kristin, who is married to Chicago Bears quarterback, Jay Cutler, dedicated touching memories of her big brother. "My heart is in a million pieces. Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh. You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I'm at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP," she wrote in the Instagram post below.

MStars News previously reported that Kristin and her husband, welcomed their third child before her brother went missing. Saylor James was born right before Thanksgiving on Monday, November 23.
