WWE 'NXT Takeover: London' Results: Is Finn Balor or Samoa Joe NXT Champion?

WWE presents NXT Takeover: London from across the pond, and this was another excellent show in the string of the developmental brand's live specials. But is Finn Balor or Samoa Joe the NXT Champion at the close of the show. We've got full results, so read on to find out.

Triple H starts the show and says he got beat down last Sunday, but he'd have to be a corpse to miss this show. He hypes the crowd and we see a video package to get things started.

Asuka defeats Emma in a great opening match. Emma taps out to the Asuka Lock, but Dana Brooke had the referee distracted. The ref throws her out and Asuka yells at her. Emma tries to capitalize on this, but the Japanese superstar kicks her in the head and pins her.

Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson defeat Enzo Amore and Big Cass to retain the NXT Tag Team Championship. Enzo nearly gets the win when he tries to sail through the air onto Dash, but Dawson pulls his partner out of the ring. The champs quickly hit their finisher and score the pin.

Baron Corbin defeats Apollo Crews when he counters a powerbomb attempt by holding onto the ropes and then connects with End of Days.

We see a promo for Sami Zayn, who returns next week!

Before Nia Jax faces Bayley for the NXT Women's Championship, Nia does an interview. Asuka interrupts by staring at her. Nia walks over to confront her, but Asuka just smirks and walks away.

The match begins, and Nia looks to be on her way to an easy victory. After some struggling, Bayley locks in a submission for what feels like ages before Nia finally taps.

Finn Balor retains the NXT Championship against Samoa Joe by escaping multiple Muscle Buster attempts and finally connecting with the Coup de Grace.
