Christmas Songs! Stephen Colbert, Henry Rollins Perform "Carol of the Bells" on 'Late Show'

Actor-musician Henry Rollins stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday night to: A) promote his new film He Never Died, and B) spread some Christmas cheer via a punked-up version of "Carol of the Bells."

Because, you know, it's Henry Rollins.

Donned in a couple of Christmas sweaters holding the letters "C" and "R" on them – we'll let you guess who was wearing which sweater – Colbert kicked off the performance with a more peaceful, Christian-like rendition of the famed Christmas classic. And then, well, all hell broke loose as Rollins dusted off his Black Flag chops and started screaming into the mic ... multiple times.

Because, again, it's Henry Rollins.

Alongside performing with Colbert, Rollins sat panel on The Late Show and admitted that even after all these years he's still a pretty angry dude.

"What makes you angry?" the host asked. To which Rollins responded, "Anything where humans could do better, where they could treat each other and themselves."

Upon being asked if he, Henry Rollins, is merely part of the problem in being so angry all of the time, the Black Flag singer assured that he is not. In fact, it's his anger that makes him do all of the things that eventually leads to him being a better version of himself: reading more, writing more, ask more questions, etc.

In the end, if you take one thing away from Rollins' interview with Colbert, let it be what he's doing for Christmas:

"Food from the store goes into the microwave; I eat it, I listen to records and I curse the darkness."

He Never Died stars Rollins as Jack, an outcast "thrust out of his comfort zone," revealing a violent, and rather biblical, past.
