Don't call it a comeback! LL Cool J will lick his lips onstage for the fifth year in a row as the 2016 Grammys host. The two-time Grammy-winning rapper and actor will again bring his signature sexy, suave style to the 58th Annual Grammys Awards, which will be shown live Feb. 15 on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The Recording Academy announced Wednesday that LL Cool J (Lip Sync Battle, NCIS: Los Angeles) is locked in as the emcee for the 2016 broadcast, adding that his personality and energy set the perfect tone for the show.

"His unique expertise, both as a Grammy-winning recording artist and accomplished actor, allows him to connect with both his musical peers and the fans at home, and his dynamic personality and charismatic energy set the perfect tone for our show," said Recording Academy President/CEO Neil Portnow.

CBS tweeted the news following the announcement Wednesday.

LL Cool J is pumped up and ready to host the music industry's yearly celebration. He responded: "I'm honored once again to host Music's Biggest Night as we celebrate the talented music creators of today. It's going to be an incredible night and I'm excited to share this experience with the world."

Some of the artists who swept up Grammy nominations are Kendrick Lamar with 11  and a nod from President Obama, plus Taylor Swift and The Weeknd with 7 nominations each. For a full list of nominees, check out the official Grammy website.
