Adele's new album "25" broke yet another this week as the biggest selling album since 2011. Adele continues her world domination with an elegant portrait-like photo on the December 21 cover of TIME Magazine. In an exclusive interview with TIME, Adele speaks on music, motherhood, success and Beyoncé!

The earth shattering "25" album is now in its 4th week as Number 1 album on the Billboard 200 list. In addition, Adele has also broken a new record as having the biggest selling album in America since 2011. As a matter of fact, the biggest selling album in 2011 was her very own, "21" so essentially Adele has the No. 1 and No. 2 best-selling albums since 2009. Her cataclysmic success has earned her a spot on the latest issue of TIME Magazine as the focus for 'The Year Ahead.

In a series of interviews with TIME, Adele touches on several topics. She admits to having no idea why she is so successful. Adele attributes some of her notoriety to not being "shy or embarrassed to be falling apart," she said. She added that as an artist, she has no desire to be a brand because that makes her sound like "fabric softener or a packet of crisps." She wants to retain her personality and continue to be relatable to her fans.

The UK singer also spoke about how much motherhood has changed her life and what a joy having her three year old son, Angelo on the road with her has been. She told TIME, "I have no time for myself because in between doing this, all my spare time is with him. But then I realized, he's been keeping me totally cool and calm about the whole thing." Adele continued by explaining that motherhood has given her a newfound purpose and that Angelo makes her so proud of herself.

Adele and Beyoncé Collab?

There was not a single feature on the "25" album, so TIME asked the question on everyone's mind and addressed rumors about a duet with Beyoncé. Adele responded by saying "Whoever started that rumor must have been having a laugh because anyone who knows me knows that my main priority in life outside of my child is Beyoncé." She did mention that there was a plan for a duet on this album but conflicting schedules just didn't allow for it to work. Adele confirmed "it wasn't Beyoncé!" Stay tuned perhaps we will see the dynamic duet finally happen.

Adele expanded on many other topics during the interview like acting, social media, and her family. Pick up a copy of this weeks' TIME Magazine issue for the full interview.
