Taylor Swift is set for a pretty rockin' New Year's Eve following a tremendous 2015: it was announced this morning that the singer's latest music video, for her hit "Out of the Woods," will be premiering on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest on ABC Dec. 31.

Swift confirmed the news herself today on Twitter, saying:

There is currently no word on if Swift will be in attendance at the show to see the music video off, or if she will be performing for the special as she did last year.

"Out of the Woods" is the sixth single off of her immensely successful album, 1989. The other singles, in order, were: "Shake It Off," "Blank Space," "Style," "Bad Blood," and "Wildest Dreams."

The video for "Out of the Woods" was reportedly filmed in New Zealand in November. At the time, the singer caused quite a controversy. Fans were upset that Swift was filming in their country after leaving New Zealand off of her tour stops for the 1989 World Tour (meanwhile, Australia had six tour dates).

New Zealand environmentalists were also outraged by the singer's apparent misuse of filming permits. At the time, Waitakere Ranges local board chair, Sandra Coney, said via Facebook, "Taylor Swift filming at Bethells this week. Permission was given for I think 2 vehicles, instead there were about a dozen. Parks not happy at all. We are trying to minimise [sic] vehicles on beaches for good reasons but at Bethells there are baby dotterels."

The New Zealand dotterel is local bird species locals are working hard to protect. Coney went on to say that filming on their beaches is welcome, so long as the birds' environment is respected, however, she said, "Taylor's lot did not respect the environment or the conditions of their consent."

Swift ultimately made no comment on the matter.

Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest airs Dec. 31 at 8 p.m., but no official word has been given regarding at what point in the show Swift's latest video will premiere.
