"God is good to me to put me in the hands of this team. You put freedom first," Hasselbeck told her news team. "I'm so blessed." Hasselbeck also became emotional while looking at a book filled with photos of her at work and with her coworkers. "I'm so thankful. I have a heart full of gratitude for this. This is an outstanding team who works so hard."

One of the Fox News writers recalled a time that she felt like she was in trouble with a producer for eating breakfast at her desk, the writer named Kelly claimed that Hasselbeck comforted her and told her that everyone would be okay. "She made me feel way better," the writer remembered about the anchor.

MStars News previously reported that Hasselbeck was leaving the national news network to focus on her kids and her family.

The former 2001 Australian Outback Survivor star has three children, Grace, 10, Taylor, 8, and Isaiah, 6. She is married to her college sweetheart, Tim Hasselbeck, who is a retired NFL quarterback.

In a past statement, when everyone learned she was leaving, Hasselbeck said: "Oftentimes, the most difficult decisions are between two great things. Throughout my 14 years working in television, I have never experienced a more positive and thoughtful atmosphere than Fox News Channel, thanks to the strong leadership of [Fox News Chairman & CEO] Roger Ailes, who has created the best working environment a woman and mother could ask for."
