Ever since Zayn Malik surprisingly left One Direction earlier this year, breaking millions of teen hearts in the process, he's been at a constant feud against the boy band that made him a superstar, often dissing them in the media - but producer Simon Cowell is getting tired of taking it and has called Malik "rude."

Speaking to UK outlet The Mirror a few days back, Cowell weighed in on Malik's attitude after leaving the biggest boy band in the world, saying the star will "probably reconsider" his past words towards the band, adding that it wasn't very nice of him to diss the band in the first place.  "It is a bit rude to the people who wrote all the hits with them. And to the other band members. I mean they all wrote a lot of the stuff," said Cowell.

If the meanest talent show judge in the world calls you out on not being nice, you better be careful with the way you're behaving, even if it also happens to be the person behind the band you just left - it's pretty tough to have the rudest man on television calling you out on having a bad attitude.

Just last month, the singer, who was once Perrie Edwards' fiancé, told The Fader that the reason he'd stepped out of One Direction was that he wanted to make "real music," going on to say that the band's music was "generic as f*ck," and adding that everything he suggested was ultimately scraped for a more pop-like formula.

In the time since quitting One Direction, Malik has remained in headlines, mostly due to unpleasantness: from his breakup with Little Mix singer Edwards (whom he reportedly dumped over text) to his continuous feuding with his former band members and, most recently, his alleged relationship with Victoria's Secret Angel Gigi Hadid.
