Padma Lakshmi 'I'm Still Single!': 'Top Chef' Host Denies Relationship with Hotelier Vikram Chatwal on Twitter, 'Single and Searching' For 'Mr. Right'

"Top Chef" host Padma Lakshmi had been rumored to in a relationship with successful hotelier Vikram Chatwal, but thanks to a tweet from the former model it looks like these reports are false. That means that Lakshmi is still on the market! She recently told PEOPLE, "I'm still single ... and searching!" Lakshmi says, "Vikram and I are just friends are will remain just friends."

The 42-year-old Emmy nominee took to Twitter to address the issue as well:

Pls stop the lies. I'm NOT dating anyone or vacationing with or 'cozy' with anyone. Susan S was my only date to Blossom Ball. #singleandfree

Padma is busy raising her three-year-old daughter, Krishna, right now but is hoping to find "Mr. Right" soon. A little more than a year ago, Padma lost her longtime boyfriend, billionaire Teddy Forstman, to brain cancer. Before his passing, Lakshmi said, "I am lucky to have someone who unwaveringly gave me love and manly support."

Forstman was rumored to be the father of Krishna, but a paternity test proved that she was actually the biological daughter of Lakshmi's ex, Adam Dell. Padma was also married to the controversial author, Salman Rushdie from 2004 until 2007. His book Fury is based on her.

So despite a hectic love life, Padma Lakshmi seems to be keeping her head up when it comes to her future. Hopefully for her, she will be able to settle down soon since it seems like that is her ultimate goal right now.
