Star Wars: The Force Awakens just broke the billion-dollar box office barrier less than two weeks after opening, and Disney's understandably milking the Skywalker family for all their worth right now, including new Star Wars Disneyland attractions – but the Anaheim park will close Tomorrowland rides to make way, some permanently.

According to The Los Angeles Times, Disney is officially moving forward with the highly-anticipated Star Wars area in the Disneyland Park in Anaheim, and while that means lightsabers, stormtroopers and many other fantastic things in the home of Mickey Mouse, it also amounts to a switch in the Tomorrowland area.

In total, ten attractions and eateries around the area will be closing starting next January, and while some of them will be out temporarily, others will be gone for good from the park.

Fox40 reports that there will only be four permanent closures: Big Thunder Ranch in Frontierland, Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue, Big Thunder Ranch Petting Zoo and Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree, while the remaining six will return once construction of Star Wars Land is completed.

Last August, Disney announced the Star Wars Land in the Anaheim park as well as Orlando's Walt Disney World, also releasing a series of pictures of the plans in their blog, impressing millions of fans.

However, it appears like the first addition to the Disney parks will come to Anaheim, an unlikely move considering Orlando's is bigger – though it might have something to do with rival Universal Studios bringing their Harry Potter attraction to their Hollywood park.

It's been a big money-making year for Disney, as not only Episode VII of the George Lucas-created saga was released, but also two new Marvel Cinematic Universe films and Netflix shows, amounting to over a billion dollars.

Of course, the parks still see a lot of annual income, even more so now considering the company just increased the price of annual passes by 31%.
