The Downton Abbey finale was just broadcast in the U.K., but there's still a little time before it comes to the U.S. But in its five-year run, a few of the world's biggest celebrities got hooked to the Crawleys' adventures, including Beyoncé and real-life royals Prince William and Kate Middleton!

These are a few hardcore fans of the TV show.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

According to Hello! magazine, ahead of the Christmas Day finale, BAFTA gave the cast and crew of Downton a special honorary award, and Prince William was present for the show's big night. He apparently shared that it was one of his and Middleton's favorite shows!

Beyoncé
Last year, UK's Now magazine reported that Michelle Dockery (Lady Mary Crawley) once spoke to Queen Bey at a Met Ball, and the "Crazy in Love" singer confessed she was a huge fan of the show.

Obviously the whole thing was pretty surreal for Dockery!

Katy Perry
During the 2012 Golden Globe Awards, the "Roar" singer was at home watching the show – and cheered on Twitter when Downton won!

John Krasinski
According to The Sun, the star of the U.S. version of The Office got hooked to the show after his British wife, Emily Blunt, got him to watch it.

Patton Oswalt
The geeky comedian has been very vocal of his love for the story of the Crawleys and their servants, often taking to Twitter to proclaim his admiration for all things Downton. HitFix collected a hilarious list of his tweets about the period drama.

Michelle Obama
Yes, the First Lady of the United States is also keeping up with the Crawleys! A couple of years back, Vanity Fair reported that President Barack Obama's wife managed to convince ITV execs to send her advanced copies of the third season ahead of its launch in the U.S.

In fact, she even hosted a private tour for the cast and crew of the White House!

P. Diddy

This might be the weirdest hardcore fan of the list, but odd as it may sound, the rapper behind "Last Night" is actually a huge fan of the show, The Daily Mail reports. What hooked him? Lady Sybil's pretty eyes at the start of the show. It seems like by the time Jessica Brown Findlay left the show, Diddy was already hooked to the story.
