The December 28, 2015 episode of WWE's Monday Night Raw emanates live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and the main event pits John Cena against Alberto Del Rio for the WWE United States Championship. We've got the full results for you, so let's see what unfolded.

Vince McMahon comes out to open the show and to get revenge on Roman Reigns. The two trade some barbs until Vince insults Reigns' family, which prompts the WWE World Heavyweight Champion to punch the boss right in the mouth. Vince writhes on the ground and complains about an injured neck.

Stephanie McMahon comes out with cops and tells them to arrest Reigns. But the cops are only here to provide security, so they won't do it. The lead cop tells Stephanie to back off and stow the attitude, which the crowd eats up. Vince gets increasingly frustrated until he grabs the cop, who then arrests him while Stephanie loses her mind.

Neville defeats Kevin Owens in a matter of about 12 seconds when he reverses a Pop-Up Powerbomb attempt into a roll up. Owens loses his mind and completely obliterates Neville. As Neville gets help to the back, Owens returns, takes Neville's head off with a clothesline, and flings him into the ring steps. He sets up for an apron powerbomb, but Dean Ambrose rushes out and makes the save.

Jojo interviews Becky Lynch and asks about Charlotte's absence tonight. Becky says she's always done things on her own when she needed to, and she's here to stand out, not blend in.

Sasha Banks cuts a promo about how Boston is superior to New York and puts on a Patriots hat to prove her point. Naomi adds her two cents also.

Banks then defeats Becky Lynch after Team BAD interferes multiple times, which allows The Boss to hook a handful of tights for the pin.

Vince McMahon is booked at the police station, and his mugshot is terrifying.

The New Day comes out and reminds the crowd that they became the WWE Tag Team Champions in the Barclays Center AND the famous trombone debuted here too. They would play us a song, but we didn't vote them as the Slammy winner for Tag Team of the Year, so no dice.

Kalisto defeats Kofi Kingston with a frankensteiner after Xavier Woods' attempt to interfere backfires. Xavier then calls out Sin Cara for helping his tag team partner win. But instead of fighting him himself, he has Big E do it for him.

Big E wins that match with the Big Ending after The New Day interferes.

The Miz comes out for MizTV and says this will be his year, but it doesn't take long for Ryback to interrupt him. Goldust comes out and asks if the Miz will actually win anything this year. This process continues with Zack Ryder, R-Truth (who hilariously asks us to vote for him to win the Slammy for Superstar of the Year), Heath Slater, and Big Show.

The giant knocks out Slater and takes out everybody, with Ryback as the last one. Show answers the crowds chants for retirement and says he is the #1 entrant in the Royal Rumble.

Ryback defeats Big Show by count out.

The League of Nations (minus Alberto Del Rio) defeats Dean Ambrose and The Usos with a Brogue Kick from Sheamus. Kevin Owens attacks Ambrose after the match and powerbombs him through the announce table. The look on Owens' face after he does so...just go find it. It's incredible.

Vince McMahon gets out of prison. Stephanie leads him out as reporters take pictures and try to ask questions.

John Cena returns and cuts a promo about how disgraceful it is that Alberto Del Rio has not defended the WWE United States Championship, but he should do so tonight. Del Rio comes out with the League of Nations and says he decides who gets a title shot, and Cena doesn't. Besides, Brooklyn doesn't deserve a championship match. Cena crushes Del Rio on the mic and eventually convinces him to make this a title match.

After some shenanigans including a knocked out referee and interference from The League of Nations, Cena counters a Cross Arm Breaker attempt into an Attitude Adjustment. But just as he's about to score the pin, the League swams Cena to cause the disqualification. After the bell, Cena eats a Brogue Kick. The Usos rush out to even the odds but the League quickly takes control. Reigns then hits the ring and cleans house, which includes whacking Sheamus with a chair.

Vince McMahon's music hits and he says Roman Reigns' days as champions are numbered because next week, he defends the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus with Vinnie Mac himself as the special guest referee! He wishes everyone a Happy New Year as the show goes off the air.
