After months of unconfirmed rumors about Rihanna's relationship with Travis Scott, RiRi's longtime friend, songwriter and producer Glass John has gone on a Twitter rant against the Rodeo star, saying the Barbadian singer's new boyfriend is to blame for delays in recording her upcoming album, Anti.

According to The Daily Beast, John is adamantly against Scott's relationship with the 27-year-old singer, and last Monday, he took to social media to express his frustration at Rihanna's new love, letting the world know that, from his perspective, RiRi's involvement with Scott has clouded her judgment when it comes to making professional decisions.

In a Twitter tirade where he referred to Rihanna as his "wife," John told his followers (and anyone a retweet away) that he had been trying to get the song "Kiss It Better" (which he co-wrote) released as RiRi's single, but Scott had been the reason she'd chosen not to, as "Travis keeps putting doubt in her mind," he tweeted.

It seems like the song was originally supposed to drop on John's birthday, Nov. 6, until it was pushed back to Christmas Day – and, once again, it wasn't launched at that date.

The songwriter also went on to speak about a recent event involving Scott, as the rapper and the "B*tch Better Have My Money" singer were recently at a club where there were gunshots and they were in danger. It appears that Rihanna's collaborator and friend has had enough with Scott jeopardizing her.

"I AM GOING TO BEAT YOUR ASS IF YOU EVER PUT MY WIFES LIFE IN DANGER..." John tweeted, via Hollywood Life. "I MENT EVER AGAIN...But i mean am going to literally beat your ass." [sic]

It seems like things are tough for Rihanna and John's relationship since Scott came into the picture; the songwriter even went so far as to comment that the whole situation was the reason why all of his and Chris Brown's songs were about Rihanna.

The Barbadian beauty has yet to make any comments on her friend's Twitter rant. In fact, she hasn't even confirmed she's dating Scott.
