'Marvel's Daredevil' Season 2 Spoilers: Jon Bernthal/Frank Castle "Tortures" In Netflix PHOTOS

Netflix has released photos from the upcoming Season 2 of Marvel's Daredevil. In the latest second season, will Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) end up being "tortured" by Frank Castle aka The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) during one of their fights?

We previously mentioned, Netflix has announced Season 2 of the Man Without Fear series. With executive producer Steven S. DeKnight stepping down, new showrunners Doug Petrie (American Horror Story) and Marco Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy) will take over the reins. The man without fear continues his crime-fighting adventures after defeating Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio), which nearly came with a heavy cost.

The former Walking Dead actor will portray their most popular characters. The Punisher and Daredevil will become at odds over the differences between justice and vengeance. Known as the Greek Girl, Elektra (Elodie Yung) makes a surprise return to Murdock's life.

According to IGN, images of The Punisher and Elodie Yung's Elektra have come forward in the upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly. In the image, The Punisher appears to have the advantage over the man without fear, who finds himself tied up. Notice how the Wolf of Wall Street actor is standing just enough to the side, blocking whether or not he has a skull on his shirt.

In an interview with EW, Petrie describes how Frank Castle won't be holding back, ""Viewers watching the show will be rooting for this guy with a gun but we're also going to force people - the way we force Matt - to second-guess themselves."

Petrie continues, "Taking lethal justice into your own hands in America in 2015 is tricky s-t. We have not shied away from the rich complicated reality of Now. If you've got a gun and you're not the police you're going to incite strong feelings. We're stirring the pot and we're aware of the headlines where we live and we're trying to get people to think."
