'Suicide Squad': Jared Leto/Joker, Margot Robbie/Harley Quinn Trailer HIts DC Comics Special!

Warner Bros. will release an all-new trailer of the super-villain team, Suicide Squad. In the upcoming Task Force X movie, check out Jared Leto (The Joker) and Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) in their very own DC Comics special airing on the CW network.

As we previously mentioned, when the government has a mission too hot for the superheroes to handle, they send in the bad guys to take care of the business. In a plot reminiscent of The Dirty Dozen, if the Suicide Squad - which includes the captured band of super-villains Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang - survives their deadly mission, their prison sentence will then be reduced.

As we mentioned before, the lineup includes Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jared Leto (The Joker), Will Smith (Deadshot), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress) in writer/director David Ayer (End of Watch)'s upcoming comic book movie.

From the official synopsis (as transcribed by Comic Book):

"It feels good to be bad... Assemble a team of the world's most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government's disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren't picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it's every man for himself?"

According to TV Line, the CW Network will air, "DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League offers a preview of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (in theaters March 25), a sneak peek at the upcoming Wonder Woman movie (starring Gal Gadot) and the world premiere an all-new trailer for Suicide Squad (out Aug. 5)."

As Heroic Hollywood states, some trusted sources of theirs revealed how the trailer will go down. This latest trailer is reportedly cut to Queen's popular hit, "Bohemian Rhapsody." The site has a breakdown of the trailer but we can only speculate that this is the footage that will actually be shown in the trailer.

DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League airs Tuesday, January 19 on the CW at 9:30pm.
