'Suicide Squad' Will Smith and 'Gotham' Jada Pinkett Smith Headed For Divorce?

Another well-loved and A-List pair are calling it quits after 17 years of marriage. Suicide Squad star Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith will be officially announcing their split at the end of the summer. Radaronline reports from an unnamed source, "They're exhausted from trying to maintain the façade of a happy union. They've decided to pull the plug in a carefully choreographed manner, (and) agree announcing their split at the end of the summer is the right move."

It seems like there have been rumors flying around for a while about marital strife with the two to the point that while on BET's "Black Girls Rock" special back in April this year there were rumors that Pinkett Smith had filed for divorce. Smith told LA Times, "In that brief moment my heart jumped for a second...And I started to imagine what my life would've been like without that woman, you know? And we've been together for 20 years.... As I thought what my life would be like and what the world would be like without her it made me sad, and I'm just standing here today happy that TMZ had it wrong."

However, not that much later, Smith would then admit in an interview earlier this year "that their marriage had 'died.' Meanwhile, Pinkett Smith, 43, seemed to acknowledge Will's notorious wandering eye," Yahoo!News reports. Pinkett Smith briefly discussed some infidelity rumors while promoting Magic Mike XXL on Howard Stern. She said to Stern, "I'm not his watcher. He's a grown man." Infidelity has apparently been two-sided according to Radaronline who got the news first this Monday morning, "Rumors have persisted since 2013 that Smith romanced his Suicide Squad co-star Margot Robbie. Will has been pictured without his wedding ring and Pinkett Smith also allegedly cheated in 2011 with HawthoRNe co-star Marc Anthony.

The two are apparently prepared to make everything official by the end of the summer and, "They have already "worked out a confidential settlement to protect their $240 million fortune, and prepare their children (son Jaden, 17, and daughter Willow, 14) for the fallout," said the source according to Yahoo!News. It's a shame to see such an iconic marriage end in the limelight, but we hope both Smith and Pinkett Smith go their separate ways peacefully.
