Breaking News: Bill Cosby's Bail Set at $1 Million in Sexual Assault Case

To say that Bill Cosby is in for a rude awakening is an understatement. Like the saying goes, your past always catches up with you and the comedian is currently feeling the sting. Once allegations were made of the legendary comedian drugging and sexually abusing women things have never been the same. Reports are now circulating that the 78-year-old who has been charged in the Andrea Constrand case is facing bail set at $1 million.

According to Bossip, Dr.Huxtable was present in a Pennsylvania courtroom as he responded to the charges placed against him. While his time in the courtroom was rather short, the judge wasted no time demanding that the comedian forfeits his passport before setting his bail at a whopping $1 million.

The news comes as we reported earlier this morning that there has been an arrest warrant issued for the comedian after allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his Pennsylvania estate in January 2004.

According to People, Cosby has previously stated that what happened between him and Constand was consensual, but in new court filings last summer Constand revealed that she was in a relationship with a woman at the time.

There have been so many accusations of the comedian indulging in drugging and sexually assaulting women but there were never any consequences. Now it seems as if his luck has run out.

According to CNN, the criminal investigation into Cosby in Montgomery County reopened in July. The new evidence was court documents in relation to a civil suit filed by Constand against the comedian. Although the civil case was settled in 2006, a judge decided to unseal the records and utilize a deposition in that case in response to a motion by the media. The deposition reveals Cosby admitting to extra-marital affairs with almost half a dozen women and giving prescription sedatives to women.

It's safe to say that Cosby's house of cards is falling.
