Asin and Rahul Sharma's Gold Wedding Card and $1 Million Dollar Engagement Ring

Bollywood actress Asin Thottumkal is all set to marry Rahul Sharma, the CEO of cell phone-maker Micromax, on Jan. 23, 2016. Their wedding will be held in Delhi and will be followed by a grand reception in Mumbai. The image of the couple's wedding invitation card has surfaced online and everyone is talking about the gold card and a million dollar diamond ring.

Aisn and Rahul have reportedly sent out a "save the date" gold-imprinted card to a selected few guests earlier this week. According to India Today, the card was designed by EDC Designs, who had earlier designed the wedding card of Indian Cricket Bowler, Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra. According to Times of India, the engagement ring is around $1 million dollars.

Not only this, at Salman Khan's birthday celebration, Asin was also spotted flaunting her diamond engagement ring, which is worth a million dollars. Given the class of both Asin and Rahul, it seems the wedding will be a grand celebration in National Capital, Delhi, which will obviously have popular faces from Bollywood and business world.

Asin made her Bollywood debut by starring alongside Aamir Khan in the 2008 romantic psychological thriller, Ghajini (the Indian adaptation of Christopher Nolan's Memento). The film garnered positive reactions from critics and the masses alike.

Asin has always remained tight-lipped about her relationship with Rahul. However, It is also being reported that AirLift star, Akshay Kumar played the cupid for Asin and Rahul. Akshay told Press Trust of India (PTI) as reported by Indian Express that, "Yes, it is true that I introduced them. But I have not opened any company for matchmaking."

Not only this, Akshay, who had been the brand ambassador for Micromax, said that he had been hiding Asin and Rahul's relationship for more than three years now.
