'The Mindy Project' Star Julia Stiles Announces Engagement to Preston J. Cook: See the Ring!

Julia Stiles is starting her New Year off engaged to Preston J. Cook, showing off her beautiful engagement ring to her Instagram followers on Monday. The 34-year-old The Mindy Project and 10 Things I Hate About You actress reportedly accepted Cook's proposal as they enjoyed a Christmas vacation in Colombia. The 34-year-old actress, who also previously starred as Lumen Pierce on Dexter, shared a photo of her gold and diamond bezel-cut engagement ring with her fans.

The actress simply captioned the pretty photo of her ring and the beautiful Ilha Grande off Colombia in the background, "Best Christmas Ever!"

People reports that Cook popped the question on Christmas Eve at a private location in Isla Grande, Colombia.

Stiles revealed she was dating Cook in an interview with The Guardian in July 2015, following her split with 41-year-old The Newsroom actor, David Harbour.

The actress reportedly met her now-fiance while working together on Go With Me, according to Us Weekly. The movie is set for release in April 2016.

This will be the first marriage for the actress. She has previously been romantically linked to Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Heath Ledger, Josh Hartnett, artist Jonathan Cramer and actor Luke Mably. She was rumored to have dated her Dexter co-star, Michael C. Hall.   

Stiles can soon be seen on the big screen alongside Al Pacino, Anthony Hopkins, Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman and Alice Eve in Misconduct, which is set for release in February.

Stiles has been seen on The Mindy Project, which was picked up by Hulu after being axed by Fox, as Dr. Jessica Lieberstein.
