Lea Michele Talks Boyfriend Matthew Paetz, Fan Backlash & Cory Monteith

Lea Michele opened up in a recent interview about boyfriend Mathew Paetz, the fan backlash she has received for falling in love again and how much Cory Monteith would love her new man. It was an eye opening interview where the actress spoke from her heart about finding love after losing love in such a tragic way.

The former Glee star sat down with the Fempire podcast on Tuesday to discuss mainly the backlash she has received on social media since finding love again after Monteith's death in 2013. Although she did not go into much detail about her story, she simply said that her fans have not always been so positive about her new relationship and are constantly bringing up her former relationship. For example, if she posts a picture of herself with Paetz, she will receive comments that are not so nice and that is difficult for her.

Despite the negative response from some fans, at the end of the day Michele doesn't believe her fans are projecting hate. She went on to encourage her fans to just be positive.

Michele didn't just talk about her fans; she also spoke highly of the man in her life. She even went as far as to say that she believed that Cory Monteith would approve of her boyfriend Mathew Paetz. Along with that revelation, she also spoke about how respectful her man is of her relationship that existed before him. It is seriously such a sweet sentiment to not only the actress but her new love.

It goes without saying that the strength and courage Lea Michele has is amazing and she deserves fans positive thoughts not negative ones.

Can you imagine going through such a public tragedy, finding a way to heal and love again, only to have that tragedy be thrown back in your face all the time. Or to be her boyfriend, who is constantly scrutinized?
