The adorable little android named BB-8 may have been the resident scene-stealer in Star Wars: The Force Awakens with his petulant beeps and lovable appearance, but it wasn't the only one who had memorable moments against Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Adam Driver. Let's take a look at the awesome minor characters who held their own against the lead actors.

5. Tasu Leech of The Kanjiklub Gang

It's not easy to steal a scene from Harrison Ford, but Yayan Ruhian managed to make the best of his brief screen time with Han Solo and Chewbacca.

Ruhian and his The Raid costars Iko Uwais and Cecep Arif Rahman played members of an intergalactic criminal organization who decide to confront Solo for his debts. However, just as they are about to strike, the Rathtars are unleashed and all hell breaks loose. Ruhian stands out for switching from total badass in one second to helpless Rathtar fodder in the next.

4. Lor San Tekka

Max von Sydow may have only appeared in the first 15 minutes of the film, but his character uttered the cryptic opening line, "This will begin to make things right." The dialogue has been analyzed by fans to be a prediction of what will happen in the new Star Wars trilogy, although there are some who think it was aimed directly at George Lucas and his prequels. But that's not the reason why San Tekka is in the list; von Sydow's character towered over Driver's Kylo Ren despite being held back by the Stormtroopers.

San Tekka may have been a captive but he had complete control over Ren. He was also responsible for the first two shockers of the movie; the revelation that Ren related to the Skywalkers as well as a quick but violent lightsaber death dealt by the villain.

3. Kalonia, Chewbacca's Doctor

Who could forget that endearing moment when Chewie was being attended to by a Resistance doctor who treated him like a fragile little furball?

Shakespearean actress Harriet Walter didn't completely steal the scene from everyone's favorite Wookie, but she definitely shone when she responded to his horror story, saying, "You must have been very brave." The scene was immediately returned to Chewbacca when he gave an adorable shrug, but for a moment, the doctor was sort of his hero.

2. JB-007, Rey's Jedi Mind Trick Stormtrooper

His Stormtrooper name is a dead give-away to the identity of the man behind that mask. Although Daniel Craig continues to deny playing a minor role in The Force Awakens, fans simply can't stop talking about the Stormtrooper who gets tricked by Rey into releasing her and leaving his blaster behind.

The scene was funny on its own as the anonymous First Order Stormtrooper initially defies Rey, calling her "scavenger scum" before finally getting controlled by the girl from Jakku. However, it gets hilarious once you realize that James Bond is actually powerless against the Force. Rey may have been in control, but JB-007 takes over the scene with his subtle comedic timing.

1. TR-8R

The Force Awakens had an unlikely hero in another anonymous Stormtrooper who didn't just steal one scene; he stole everybody else's thunder by dominating the internet with TR-8R memes.

The First Order Stormtrooper now known as TR-8R was first seen brandishing his Z-6 Riot Control Baton in one of the several TV spots for The Force Awakens. Once the film was released, the feisty character took over one of the most memorable (and amazingly badass) moments when he recognizes Finn and immediately yells, "Traitor!"

The actor behind TR-8R might remain anonymous, but the world now knows more about the character and why his attack on Finn seemed so personal; /Film reports that he used to be one of Finn's squadmates and they were friends before FN-2187 decided to go AWOL.
