White people, you need to go to black barbershops. Why? Because Killer Mike said so on Tuesday night's episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Mike stopped by The Late Show and conversed with Colbert about some of the ongoing issues in America in regards to race. Colbert, speaking for all white people, asked Mike, speaking for all black people, if whether the tragic events that have unfolded in the last couple of years in Ferguson, Charleston, etc., has caused a change in awareness in terms of "international dialogue."

The rapper explained that the problems of both black and working class people in America is something that has been around for decades, which is much of the reason he has come out publicly supporting Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in his quest for the White House. Sen. Sanders has been rather outspoken during his time in office about the extreme inequality when it comes to the social construction of the United States.

To Colbert, Mike stated that if people are just coming around to those problems, they are indeed choosing to be ignorant.

Mike urged that we must "call a spade a spade" and familiarize ourselves with the truth: that the problem is coming from conditions we have created.

Their conversation turned to the theory that there is a "systemic attempt," as Colbert said, to isolate those in the lower class, specifically minorities.

"It's not an attempt," Mike answered. "It's successful."

So, what can we do? Well, go to black barbershops. Colbert, somewhat joking but really adding some truth, noted that there are conversations occurring at black barbershops that are undoubtedly not happening at the white ones.

That, and white people are cool with paying $50 for a haircut, as Mike suggested.

Which is, well, true.
