There was not a dry eye in the house at the People's Choice Awards as Vin Diesel gave a speech that was an emotional tribute to the late Paul Walker.

Last night, Furious 7 took home the awards for Favorite Movie and Favorite Action Movie. Diesel took the stage to talk about what an honor it was to win those awards at this particular show, because the people, the fans, voted for it. He talked about his love for the franchise, for the cast that has made all the movies such a success and what roller coasters ride it has been for him over the years.

Throughout the entire speech the actor was very emotional. He even spoke about it at one point. Then he came to talking about his friend, Walker, and his tragic death. He started off by simply giving a message about love and admitting that it was love that brought the cast back together after Walker died. He continued by sharing that after that day back in Nov. 2013, the cast did not want to return to finish the film but it was love that helped them to move forward with the movie.

It was the end of Vin Diesel's People Choice Awards speech that really packed the emotional punch. He closed out the speech by singing "See You Again" which is the tribute song for Paul Walker by Wiz Khalifa. Although he didn't get to sing too much of the famous song, it was the perfect ending and the perfect way to honor a man the actor considered a brother.

This is not the first time Diesel has given a tribute to his friend, or honored him. He named his daughter Pauline after Walker and has talked about him, their friendship, their bond and their love many times on social media. Actually, the entire cast of Furious 7 has continuity honored their pal Walker since his death, especially during promotion for the film.

It seems this group truly is like family, just like the characters they play in the hit films.
