It looks like it’s FINALLY happening. The world is going to be delighted with a sequel to the heavily popular 1996 film Independence Day. Sadly, it’s not exactly the one we wanted. Well, now it appears some lucky fans in Denver, Colorado will actually be able to. The Knocked Up actor recently took to his official Twitter page to announce to fans that he'll be in Denver on Dec. 8 doing a screening for his new James Franco co-starring film The Interview. He also mentioned that he'll be getting "baked with everyone first." Fans may remember that the character of Nova, aka Richard Rider, was an oft-discussed topic in the lead up to Guardians of the Galaxy earlier this year. Some reports said Nathan Fillion was set to play the character, but then Nova never appeared in the movie. Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro announced this week that Pacific Rim 2 would feature two more returning cast members in Charlie Day and Burn Gorman. The two represent the scientific portion of the film, full of information about the Kaiju and help spell out the plot for the audience. With the director also revealing earlier this year that the film will focus more on the mysteries of these creatures, it looks like Day and Gorman will play even bigger roles in 2017. Read More »
Back in 2012, there was talk that Taylor Swift was in line to play folk’s own Joni Mitchell in a silver screen biopic based on the book Girls Like Us, which chronicles the influence the folk legend, as well as Carol King and Carly Simon, had on the music industry. All the while, the 1989 singer admitted that she’d be totally down to play Mitchell, but nothing had been solidified. Why?
