Reports confirm that U.S. Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn was airlifted by helicopter off the slopes of Schladming, Austria during the World Alpine Skiing Championships after a sever crash during her Super-G race. Vonn was transferred to a nearby hospital after losing balance during a jump and supposedly injuring her right knee. Her U.S. team had no further immediate information on her condition. Read More »

And that's exactly what New England Patriots tight-end Rob Gronkowski did... with a delicate broken forearm, nonetheless. TMZ reports that 23-year-old the "Gronk" broke it down dancing onstage at Las Vegas' XS nightclub late Sunday evening (Feb. 3)... he got so into the groove that he ended up body-slamming a fellow partier right to the ground. Larry Nevers, one of the two Detroit cops convicted of second-degree murder in the fatal, brutal 1992 beating of African American "suspect" Malice Green, died in his sleep at the age of 72 on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013. Back on November 5, 1992, police officers Nevers and Walter Budzyn were accused of beating Green to death with heavy police flashlights outside a crack house in Detroit when the suspect failed to relinquish a vial of crack cocaine. Although convicted, Nevers continued to voice his innocence, blaming the conviction on "racial politics." Reports from the Macomb County Medical Examiner's Office confirm that Nevers passed away on Sunday and that his body was released to family members later that day. Read More »
