A two-year-old baby girl narrowly avoided death this week after the car she was riding in got involved in a violent, high-speed crash on an icy highway in Moscow, Russia. The young girl (who was not properly buckled into her car seat) was flung from the car and thrown directly into the dangerous path of oncoming traffic. Miraculously, the baby survived and managed to safely escape the scary ordeal with only a few scrapes and bruises and a minor concussion. In a recent interview with MTV, actor Shia LaBeouf admitted to experiencing his first acid trip as "research" for his role in the 2013 Sundance Film Festival indie flick ""The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman." Although initially scared because he'd never dropped acid before, LaBeouf wanted to fully immerse himself into the character of Charlie Countryman, a young man who falls in love with a "dangerous" woman and at one point in the film experiments with hallucinogenic drugs. Ohio middle school teacher Melissa Cairns "finally found a way to get [her students] to be quiet!!!" - and such a controversial classroom tactic may ultimately cost Cairns her career.
