Bam Margera, popular skateboarder and former star of the hit MTV stunt show "Jackass," has apologized after catching some heat for recently posting a picture on Twitter of himself posing with his pet pit bull puppy. Sounds totally cute and innocent, until one realizes that Margera is brandishing a (fake toy) gun aimed right at the poor pup's head. What was supposed to be a simple Twitpic prank didn't go over too well in the animal activist world, and Margera wants his fans to know that he meant no harm and thinks that animal abuse isn't cool at all. Tiffany Webb, a popular guidance counselor at a New York City high school, was fired from her job (a title which she held for 12 years) because of sexy, racy modeling pictures that surfaced of her online - images that were snapped over 17 years ago. Webb claims that the scantily clad lingerie and bikini photos were taken almost two decades ago when she was pursuing a modeling career in her youth - information that she clearly disclosed to her former employer when first hired by the city as an educator. A Chicago Bears fan was stabbed to death during a bar brawl in an Irish-themed restaurant in Jacksonville, FL on Sunday morning. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office reports that William C. "Chris" Pettry died after having his throat slit during a fight involving two other men. A Jacksonville man was promptly booked in jail on murder charges. Read More »
Mexico's navy released a statement on Monday reporting that the infamous Zetas drug cartel leader, Heriberto Lazcano (better known as El Lazca), has been killed. The death has yet to be confirmed, but supposedly Lazcano was left dead after a firefight broke out between marines and the Zetas in the northern border state of Coahuila on Sunday. The death of Lazcano - one of the leaders and founders of the world's largest and bloodiest drug cartels - would be a huge victory for Mexican law enforcement. Read More »

The search for Jessica Ridgeway, a 10-year-old Colorado girl who has been missing since Friday, has expanded to over 100 law enforcement and volunteers avidly searching the rocky terrains and roadsides of Colorado and now Missouri. New evidence may also help to advance the search and provide more information on Ridgeway's mysterious disappearance - a backpack containing a water bottle with Ridgeway's name on it was found on Sunday, Oct. 7 approximately six miles away from the location where the young student was last seen. The unfortunate news has surfaced that Alex Karras, a former NFL Detroit Lions star-turned-actor, has been suffering from kidney failure the past two weeks. It is a life-threatening condition, and family and friends of Karras say that the 77-year-old has been given only a few days to live. Read More »
After having just recently completed a stint in rehab to treat her stress and anxiety issues, singer/actress LeAnn Rimes found herself rushed to the ER this weekend after experiencing brutal pain from a "massive infection," something which the 30-year-old described as a "dental nightmare." Rimes was forced to cancel the first concert on her tour in Wendover, NV on Friday (Oct. 5), but managed to perform at two benefit shows on Saturday.
